Comments

Brilliant recording overall if we consider the acoustics of this open-air natural venue. Music and vocals come through well upfront and pretty loud. All instruments and vocals are highly audible, so the sound is quite solid, crisp, and clear. The only blemish is that the crowd are loud at some spots, too, with loud cheering or applause. Usually the audience noise stays under the music, but others becomes a bit overwhelming. All in all, this recording is just excellent.

Track 10 and 11 CD2 are bonus. Track 10 was recorded in Antwerp (Belgium) at Sportpaleis on August 6th, 2001. Track 11 recorded in the same city / venue, but August 5th, 2001.

The Dublin show was sold out in 30 minutes when tickets went on sale on March 10th. Moreover, this show was played on the day after the funeral of Bono's father. Note the rare performance of A Sort of Homecoming, and a brief cover of Dancing in the Moonlight.
