Comments
Fantastic audience recording, with a close and powerful sound. The overall mix is great, with all instruments and vocals pretty well captured and balanced, and minimal crowd noise. Clarity and cleanness are stunning.
It's
said the band delivered a tired impression in their first of four shows in
Chicago. Even taper's
comments go in this way: "Not one of U2's best performances. Bono seemed tired or sick, and he really didn't connect with the crowd
like he usually does. He maybe came out on the ellipse maybe three times, and Edge came out only when he needed to.
Adam carried the show. He was all about on the ellipse, and he was smiling a lot. To say the least it was
surprising." I did not
notice anything strange when listening to it, but I have to admit I
wasn't there to check it out.
