Comments
Very nice recording that is a good upgrade to what it is on circulation (especially the video-sourced audio that was torrented, and later bootlegged on the so-called silver 'Love on the Tracks'). Sound is quite clear, although music and vocals come through slightly distant. Crowd noise is audible but never being too distracting. This master doesn't offer the raw and unpolished sound that the 'Love on the Tracks' silver got. All in all, not a sharp excellent sounding tape, but pretty clear and solid though.
It's the third night in Dublin, with a lot of changes in the setlist and a few suprises that make it a superb concert. The performance is also strong, with band and audience in high spirits. A stunning rendition of Bad includes some lines of Dirty Old Town for the crowd delight. Gloria and Sunday Bloody Sunday are another highlights of the gig. Finally, this concert features true bises (Yahweh and "40").
