Comments
Second night in Chicago during the third leg of the tour, and last of six concerts in the city during the Vertigo Tour. It's a fantastic show with the band mixing the setlist up a little bit. Yahweh is played this time in the middle of the show, and not in the bises, and Bad is not performed as the closing song. Original of the Species features The Edge on piano again, as he did in the first leg (during the European leg, U2 staff member Terry Lawless was on piano, and The Edge on electric guitar).
The recording is placed among the topping tapes of the tour, a very powerful and sharp one with excellent sound quality and minimal crowd interference. Music and vocals come through well upfront, and it makes this concert very enjoyable to listen to.
