Location: section 325, row 14, seat 8

Transfer: MZ-RH10 > USB Digital Transfer > wav

Edit: wav > Sound Forge 7.0 > CD Wave > flac

Taper comments: Mics were placed in a hat once again so I was above the audience. Caught great sound from the stacks and PA which were really close in the back. Amazingly I got the same section and row as last time I taped and came out with a better, clearer recording. Must be because of the Hi-MD recorder.

Comments

First show out of four in Boston during the third leg of the Vertigo Tour (two concerts in October, and another two dates in December). The venue was the TD Banknorth Garden, ex-Fleet Center. As mentioned on the comments of the 04-October-2005 gig, the venue still had that name when the band played three shows on May during the first leg of the tour. Before Yahweh, a fan threw up a Boston Red Sox jersey to the stage, and Bono put it on, for the crowd delight. Wild Horses made it back to the setlist again, but played acoustically by the whole band.

A good sounding and solid recording that lacks some more cleanness and punch, as it sounds tiny distant, but still brings very bright sound quality, and not much crowd noise.
