Comments
Last of five consecutive shows at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York. This is an interesting tape that brings excellent sound quality. Both music and vocals come through pretty powerful with crowd noise being generally audible between songs or in the quieter parts of the gig, although can be noisy near the taper on occasion. However, it also offers a harsh low-end (really bassy at some spots). Taped by the same guy, this is very similar to Boston 28-May-2005, but this time more audience noise is present. All in all, a solid tape.
According to website "U2 Achtung", Walk On and "40" were planned on the original setlist, but later they were dropped out, as the band played Party Girl and a second rendition of Vertigo instead. Usual snippets appeared here and there, but I'd remark Rockaway Beach on the first rendition of Vertigo, My Sweet Lord during One, and Iggy Pop's No Fun on the second Vertigo.
