Additional notes (by the taper): The band was recording their performance of The Wanderer for the Johnny Cash tribute show. This soundcheck includes a few different takes of this song. As well, Bono talks about and changes the lyrics in parts.

Comments

Brilliant recording of the soundcheck the band did before the second night in los Angeles. As mentioned above by the taper, 'nico', the band was rehearsing and recording their performance of The Wanderer for the Johnny Cash tribute. They feature the only live performances by the whole band, so this is why this soundcheck is so interesting.

The tape offers excellent sound quality, although there is a little background noise, and there are some dropouts and glitches here and there as well, the worst on the first take of The Wanderer.
