Comments

A very strong set, and an emotional concert. U2 also played in Buffalo 25 years ago, but December 8th, just the night John Lennon was murdered. At that time, it was the band's third concert ever in the United States (second leg of the Boy Tour). So there are a lot of references to John Lennon throughout the show, and some snippets here and there from The Beatles.

About sound quality, the recording features a very full and crisp sound. Music and vocals come through pretty clean and powerful. Crowd noise is audible, but never too distracting, although some stray voices appear from time to time. A really solid tape.
