Comments

Second source of the concert in Gelsenkirchen, and it offers very nice sound quality. The recording sounds pretty clear and full, and offers a strong output. It just suffers a bit of reverb due to the stadium acoustics and roof. This makes the bass to sound somewhat boomy. Anyway, the tape places in the borderline 'very good / excellent', but sound quality is bright if we consider it was taped in the Veltins Arena.

After Elevation, Bono and the crowd sing again the chorus of the song. The Edge experienced problems with his guitar during Vertigo, so the band had to start it anew.

No info about recording equipment available, as it comes from a silver pressed bootleg released 'Sentinel Records' (reference SR 6609). Note that tracks 10 to 14 on CD2 are just bonus. Tracks 10 to 13 were recorded on July 18th 2009 in Berlin at the Olympiastadion. Track 14 was recorded on December 7th 2008 in Dublin at the O2 Arena (Bono and The Edge performed acoustically two songs as part of a RTE special about Irish musician Ronnie Drew).
