Comments

Bright audience recording that documents the first of two soldout nights in Zagreb at the Stadion Maksimir. This was the band's first ever concert in the country. Sound is clear and music and vocals come through quite strong, although it may sound tiny flat. There is some crowd noise, but people are never overwhelming. In the borderline 'VG / Exc" with this one.

Some nice snippets appeared here and there. During Magnificent Bono sang a few lines of Miss Sarajevo. During Beautiful Day Bono sang a few lines from The Beatles' Blackbird, but also some lines of Dubravka, a pastorale for choir and orchestra written by Ivan Gundulić. Bono and the crowd sang 'happy birthday' to The Edge, although his birthday was the previous day.
