Additional notes (by the taper): Terrific show from inside the circle. I had much more fun night two. But I didn't even notice they hadn't played Pride! Your Blue Room makes its debut... (bathroom song for the average folk) Not sure if it works, but glad I saw it, sounded great, + space screens!

Comments

Second night in Chicago, and amazing setlist. Sound quality is fantastic, and music and vocals come through very powerful and clear. There is some crowd interference but nothing too detracting. Probably sound is not as deep as the recording of the previous night in Chicago, but this is a brilliant tape overall. This one was recorded by 'Chrisedge', who also provided excellent masters of the Elevation (2001) and Vertigo (2005) tours.

Your Blue Room made its live début that night, fourteen years after it was released (on the album 'Original Soundtracks 1', recorded by U2 and Brian Eno as a side project called 'The Passengers'). Also note this song was released in 1997 as a b-side on the 'Staring at the Sun' single (1997).
