Location: GA - Floor, Dead Center with Larry's bass drum and PA stacks. 40 ft in front of board

Transfer: SD Card > PC > Sound Forge 8.0 > CDWave > TLH > FLAC

Mastering notes (by the taper): The 24/28 version was dithered down to a 16 bit version using Sound Forge. Some eq was done with the low end from 80HZ - 130HZ area (slight boost). High-hat, snare and cymbals slightly boosted in the 3K - 8K area.

Additional notes (by the taper): Overall sound is excellent and there is little audience during songs. You might hear some audience between songs, but in general there were no close by screamers or clappers. Recording wise, this one was easy. I wish most crowds were this cooperative around me.

Comments

Excellent recording that documents the first night in Foxboro. Sound is very clear and full, and crowd noise is minimal. Both music and vocals come through pretty strong and well upfront.
