Taper: JEMS

Additional notes (by the taper): A great show in Vancouver to end the second leg of the 360 tour. JEMS has seen U2 at this acoustic nightmare of a hall three times and this was the best they've sounded there. When you see this show, the staging will make you say, "The Claw is my master!".

Comments

Very nice recording by the JEMS crew that documents the last show of the second leg of the tour. The output is very clear and it sounds upfront, so it beats the well-known horrible acoustics of the BC Place Stadium. The issues are a bit of echo in Bono's vocals, and a really boomy bass. Crowd noise is minimal and relegated to the background for most of the show.

After I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For Bono told the crowd it was Bill Gates' birthday (he turned 54 that day and he also was attending the concert), so they all sing 'happy birthday' to him.
