Comments
Not the usual output for a stereo IEM as this is the Adam Clayton's source. Mostly bass and drums, while vocals and guitars are much lower in the mix. Talking about the clarity and strength of the recording, it sounds excellent and it is a great tape. But if we talk about the listening pleasure and the overall mix, it just sounds very good and it is not that enjoyable. However, it is a pretty interesting source just for the bass and listening in top quality what Adam does live. So we really have a nice clean low-end here. There are some interferences / scratches throughout the tape.
This source doesn't feature the complete concert, as it is missing several songs. As follows: Return of the Stingray Guitar / Beautiful Day / New Year's Day / Get On Your Boots / Magnificent / Mysterious Ways / I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
This was the second show of the third leg of the tour. It took place at the Commerzbank Arena, stadium formerly known as the Waldstadion. There is no piano during the first part of New Year's Day and Edge played the notes on guitar (although the song is missing in this source). Vertigo included a snippet of the REM song It's the End of the World As We Know it (And I Feel Fine) as Michael Stipe was in the building. Bono sang a few lines of Discothèque at the end of the remix of I'll Go Crazy if I Don't Go Crazy Tonight. Moment of Surrender was dedicated to the victims and relatives of the Love Parade 2010 crowd crush in Duisburg (Germany) where 21 people died and at least 500 more were injured.
