Additional notes (by the tapers): This soundcheck was done when we were in the GA line when it was raining, and we were waiting to get inside of the stadium. It's a interesting soundcheck that contains Edge talking with Joe O'Herlihy testing the sound and some guitar riffs about some songs that were going to be played at the concert. Sadly "Bad" was not played in the concert but it was on the setlist since we got that at in the end of the concert from Phil (Bono's guitar technician). Also, this soundcheck has part of an unreleased song "Boy Falls From the Sky", that was only played once in the entire tour which makes this more enjoyable. The band even tried a different arrangement sung by Edge and Bono. It's a great recording, without almost any interference and it's very enjoyable from the beginning to the end.

Comments

Superb sound quality in this stereo IEM recording, sourced from Edge's. It's a pretty clean one with minor interferences. Tracks 1 to 13 feature Edge testing guitars, doing some guitar riffs, and playing guitar parts of a bunch of songs. They also contain some conversations between sound engineer Joe O'Herlily and Edge. Tracks 14 and 15 feature the whole band playing parts of Boy Falls From the Sky. To protect that unreleased song, this part of the soundcheck wasn't shown on the PA. Track 16 is a bonus from the tapers, and it is Boy Falls From the Sky played live that night for the first and only time.
