Second of the two sources of the concert in Oakland. Like the previous source, sound quality is amazing in this one. The two sources sound pretty similar with a powerful and crisp capture of music and vocals, as they come through well upfront. The output is rich and deep and crowd noise is minimal. This source seems to offer a more "balanced bass". Tapers of the two sources I have recorded the show shoulder to shoulder, so the taping location is the same, they just ran different gear.
After Until the End of the World Bono and The Edge told the crowd they hung out with Green Day and Metallica. Later, Larry launches into singing a snippet of Lou Reed's Perfect Day, as he was attending the concert. Moreover, Bono did a brief snippet of Dirty Boulevard (another of Lou Reed's classics) during Vertigo.
