A fair recording overall, with a pretty muffled sound, but with decent clarity enough to keep the instruments and vocals well audible. A few imperfections such as hiss, slight high-end distortion, little edits, or dropouts are present (for example An Cat Dubh at 02:02), without being anything very detracting. Audience noise is just audible between songs.

U2 cover for the first time Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower. They won't perform the song again until the Joshua Tree and the Lovetown tours, where it would be played more often. The version is pretty rough, and brings Pete Wylie from the band Wah Heat! onstage to sing with Bono.
