Additional comments (allard): I've had this recording for a while now, but never realised that the encore was never 'out there' before. Even Pimm's book "U2 Live" doesn't mention the encore songs of this show. This could be, because only the songs up until 'Out Of Control' were broadcast originally. This, and the crisp sound, lead me to believe that the master reel is a Pre-FM recording of this show. It's a great, lively show, with Bono turning 21 the day before (hence the champagne encore break).

Comments

Fantastic soundboard tape straight off the master reel. Sound is crystal clear and the mix instruments-vocals is pretty good, too. Of course, the recording is incomplete, as it is missing the first seven songs. The good new is that this tape offers the final encore, which was missing in the other tapes of this same show.
