Comments
Phonemenal recording for the last pre-War gig in the U.K. CDR directly from the analog master. Clarity and crispness are just fantastic. Audience noise is not an issue: the crowd bring nice participation and add a nice live feeling. All instruments are very well captured, featuring a fantastic mix with vocals, with a great balance overall. A bit of hiss remains during the quietest parts of the concert (October is an example). Highly recommended!
Track 1 features Bono joining the support act The Alarm to do a nice rendition of Bob Dylan's classic Knockin' on Heaven's Door. So U2 gig begins at track 2. There's an edit between The Electric Co. and I Fall Down, with no loss of music.
