Additional notes (by hatnham): This is not from the boot "Twist Again In Bourges" although it is definitely the same source. This version is crystal clear and although I thought it was a soundboard, source research says it is an excellent audience recording. The recording is super clean with very minimal hiss. When we were trading back then there was a handful of us that were trading back and forth all the time. Because we were also taping shows people were very anxious to trade with us so everything I have from '83-'87 is very low generation.

Comments

Bright recording of the only french gig of the War Tour. Sound is very powerful and clear, and audience noise is minimal, only a few stray voices from time to time between songs. Music and vocals come through well upfront. Coming from a very low gen cassette, overall sound quality is excellent, with a bit of a soundboard-like feeling.

Band and crowd seem to be in high spirits, and the set is strong. Usual snippets appear here and there, such as Billie Jean in Surrender, or Let's Twist Again in Two Hearts Beat As One.
