A very good recording of a great show. Both music and vocals come through pretty loud and clear, although vocals are more prominent in the mix. The tape has a raw sound to it, as if levels were set slightly high, and cause brief high-end static in some concrete spots. All in all, this recording sounds really sharp. It comes from a 2-cd set with gaps between songs, and this is the fixed result, nice job done by Justin Cook using Cool Edit 2000. Track divisions now run smooth, except for a tape-flip fading process between The Electric Co and I Fall Down.

First track, Out of Control, cuts in. The Edge experienced guitar malfunctions, and finally it broke down. Bono was trying to fill the gap with jokes and grateful words for San Francisco, while some roadies tried to solve the technical problems. After that, the band started again the song (track-2). Before "40", Bono thanked the crowd: "There's a lot of cities in the world that if you started a concert and these machines broke down, that would be the end of it. Tonight it was only the start for us... thank you for trusting us".
