Taper: Ricku2 - This is a rebroadcast of the U2 performance at the Werchter Festival in 1983... unfortunately two songs were left out of this rebroadcast. I also included the intro and outtro but you can just delete them or skip them if you don't want to hear it.

Awesome recording, rebroadcast by Dutch Radio 2, taped by Ricku2. Sound is strong and crystal clear, with a solid capture of music and vocals. As stated above by the taper, this recording is missing two songs: Surrender and "40".

Jim Kerr of scottish band Simple Minds joined the band onstage to sing 11 O'Clock Tick Tock and Simple Minds' Someone Somewhere In Summertime snippets during the song. Later, he introduced the band to the audience. Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics also joined the band to sing "40". Note that Simple Minds and The Eurythmics were also part of the Werchter Festival line-up.
