Comments
This is a second recording of the Dutch Radio 2 broadcast (the so-called 'rebroadcast'), this time taped by Laurens van der Weijden. Sound quality is excellent with a powerful and clean capture of both music and vocals. Of course, note this recording is missing two songs: Surrender and "40".
Jim Kerr of scottish band Simple Minds joined the band onstage to sing 11 O'Clock Tick Tock and Simple Minds' Someone Somewhere In Summertime snippets during the song. Later, he introduced the band to the audience. Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics also joined the band to sing "40". Note that Simple Minds and The Eurythmics were also part of the Werchter Festival line-up.
