Comments
Very nice recording that features pretty good sound quality overall. It places in the borderline "very good / excellent" rating. The output comes through quite powerful and clear with a close capture of music and vocals. However, the tape is somewhat unpolished, too. Audience noise is only audible between songs. There is also a slight lack of bass in a couple of songs, although the instrument is still audible. There are small pops from time to time throughout the recording, that indicate this is a tape transfer to digital mode, even though I'd say it is a low generation due to its clarity. In my opinion, some parts of the recording border with "exc audience" rating.
There is an edit between Bad and Indian Summer Sky, that only affects to crowd noise.
Disc2, tracks 4 to 6 are demos from 'The Unforgettable Fire' sessions. Tracks 7 to 13 are from a soundcheck, in Bologna (Italy) at Teatro Tenda, on February 5th, 1985. The tracks from the soundcheck run a bit fast.
