Comments

A nice recording overall. Sound is a little rough, harsh, as it seems the taper set the equipment levels too high, so peaks of static or distortion can be heard from time to time during the louder parts of the songs. All instruments are well captured, with a nice mix with the vocals, offering good clarity. I would say that this recording even borders with "VG aud" rating.

The biggest blemish is a massive skip at 03:47 in A Sort of Homecoming that cuts out some seconds of the song. There is a one-second gap between Bad and October. An edit occurs between Party Girl and Gloria (it cuts out the first seconds of the latter).

This version includes bonus tracks (CD2, tracks 8 to 13). I suppose they are from a Boy Tour show during 1980, due to the way the band plays I Will Follow (the song is cut, so it is incomplete).
