Comments

This is a fair recording of a hard-to-find show. Originally in a tape, it was transferred into digital mode by Yauckt. These are his comments: "The sound of this recording is not great. Audience is agressivly present, sometimes instruments (especially drums) are marred by audience screams. Anyway, sound is powerful. I removed a part of the distortion that was present. Occasional loss of clarity occurs by moments. A slight backnoise (sounding like the taper didn't care too much about his position and was shaking his microphone all a long). My work on this tape was first slowing down the recording, decreasing the medium that caused this strange distorsion on the high notes, and of course, pasting the occasional edits."

Sound is very muffled, and a little distorted in the high-end. Both vocals and music are well audible, and clarity is decent, but really lacks more overall definition, more sharpness. Some rumbling noise can be heard throughout the recording, and it seems, as Yauckt mentioned above, as if the taper was shaking the mics. This show is the first one of the third leg of The Unforgettable Fire tour, a bunch of shows in the United States to calibrate the band's demand for the upcoming spring tour in 1985.
