Comments

Great sound quality in this recording, straight off the master cassette. This is the first of three Toronto masters by  'searcher2cr', as he also taped the Maple Leaf Gardens gig in 1985, and the 1987 show at the Canadian National Exhibition Stadium. Sound is very clear and sharp, pretty close, and crowd noise only adds a nice live feeling. Note bass is somewhat prominent in the mix, and this tape brings the complete concert (nothing is missing here) and runs at the proper speed to my ears. There's a little edit right after The Electric Co. with no loss of music.

The show is excellent with the band in top form. A Sort of Homecoming was stopped due to the hysteria in the crowd (Bono says: "Could you stop screaming, this is not The Beatles or The Bay City Rollers").
