Comments

Brilliant audience tape overall with excellent sound quality. Crowd noise is virtually non-existent and the output is absolutely clear and strong. The capture of the instruments and vocals is fantastic. This one comes from a first generation cassette, and it also comes from the same source than my other recording of this show (the so-called 'Keeping the Faith'). The main difference between both tapes is that 'Keeping the Faith' seems to have been remastered (balanced and EQ'ed) before being silver-pressed. In 'Stockhom Fire', the sound is not so well balanced, and it seems more a raw transfer, with the bass being a little boomy. Moreover, a very tiny hiss is present in the background in the quieter parts of the concert.

Note a big skip at 4:43 in Bad that kills a good part of the song (it jumps from the "bruised silken sky" part to the "condemnation, revelation" part). This skip is also present in my other tape of this show (the so-called 'Keeping the Faith'), so they both come from the same master source. There is a fading process between Bad and October that doesn't affect to the music. "40" cuts out at 10:56 when Bono is still singing, missing a few minutes of the song.
