Comments

The Paris concert closed this European leg of the tour in the huge Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. The band seemed to be in top form, after Bono's voice problems (he even claimed he could sing during the first song). This is a quite good tape with bright clarity. Instruments and vocals are both well audible and come through very clear and strong, to make this one a pretty enjoyable recording. However, overall sound is somewhat flat, as it lacks more crispness. Individual members from the audience can be heard yelling and talking, but crowd noise is generally located between songs. This recording seems to come from a very low gen tape, as it is far superior to other bootlegs from this show. There's a five-second gap at 03:35 in Bad. To sum up, despite of the thin sound, this recording keeps very good sound quality.
