Comments
Fair audience recording, with a somewhat distant and harsh sound as if recording levels were set a bit high. There's a bit of wavering background noise here and there, more noticeable when the band aren't playing. This is perfectly described by Justin Cook (webmaster of Justin's CDR Trading Page): "The source tape obviously suffered some degradation during the first few seconds of the first song on each disc. After the first verse of "11 O'Clock Tick Tock" and by the beginning of "Bad" the recording is at normal levels. Between songs on the first disc, a slight wavering can be heard if you listen closely to the cheering crowd. There is noticeable edits between several songs, but no music is lost. "October" features an extended keyboard intro by Edge." Moreover, it seems some parts run slightly fast, and "40" cuts out at 05:59. Note the last two tracks of CD2 are an unknown soundcheck.
Well,
to me, one of the poorest tapes of the fifth leg of The Unforgettable Fire Tour.
But it seems to be the best in circulation of this show.
