Recording Equipment - History

Soundboard (TV broadcast) > Analog 1st (maybe 'Analog Master'?) > transfer to hard drive > normalized to 0db > track splitting with Wavelab > CDR-Master > Eac Secure > Lossless conversion to Flac

Transfer: Luigi B.

Additional comments (by Luigi B.): Tv Broadcast/Soundboard recording. I have no idea if this comes from a master recording, but it definitely sounds great. This is a really nice soundboard recording of the 'Self Aid' set. I had it on analog tape a few years ago and then I converted it to cd and then encoded to flac. I have no idea if the tape was recorded straight from the tv, but even if it is a 1st gen I would really recommend to give it a listen.

Comments

Awesome sound quality overall. Music and vocals come through crystal clear and quite powerful. It comes from an extremely low gen analog tape, probably from the master due to its cleanness.
