Comments

This is a cassette transfer to CDR by 'Yauckt'. Sound quality is not the best, although all instruments and vocals are well audible, but the tape suffers from a distant sound, so it makes the recording to sound very thin. Moreover, there's some hiss in the background, as this one comes from an unknown generation cassette. Sound is a little saturated on occasion, as it is somewhat muffled, too.

Additional notes (by 'Yauckt'): This is not a very clear recording. audience is sometimes a problem. Sound is distant and echoed. A slight hiss remains throughout the show, sometimes more than others... U2's performance is very strong, giving a wonderful version of Bad. Before I Shall Be Released, the bans wish 'happy birthday' to an Amnesty International longtime employee.

Tracks 7 to 15 are the actual U2 set in Denver, during the 'Conspiracy of Hope Tour', a concert series for Amnesty International. Tracks 1 to 6 were recorded live during the 'Greenbelt Arts & Music Festival' in Odel (UK) on August 24th, 1981.
