Strange but quite interesting recording. It features the impromptu gig that U2 played in downtown Los Angeles during the filming of Where the Streets Have No Name video. A radio station tells U2 is filming this video, and a lot of people turn out to see the band, that is in the rooftop of a liquor store. First track features U2 playing along to a tape of the song, but later, the band begins to play live, with the cheering of the people. The mini-concert ends when the policemen close down the generators during Pride, but the audience continue to sing along on their own.
A lot of hiss can be heard, and screaming and clapping staying over the music. Some ticks between tracks are noticeable, and some edits as well.
