Additional notes (by Carlo Bolchini): As usual coolpro used only to join sides of the tape, check levels and smooth ends only. No other processing done, but during the 'master>cass(1)' copy a bit of EQ was used by the taper. The tape is 17 years old. Not really sure the master tape was on, but that was the brand of tapes the taper was using at the time. I cannot remember exactly the model of his Sony stereo mic. Quality: exc- (subjective).

Comments

Very nice recording of the first of two nights in Modena (Italy). The output is really sharp and strong with everything well upfront, but also a little bass-dominated, so it causes the tape to be a little boomy. Not a solid excellent audience recording, but sound quality is brilliant, anyway. Crowd noise is noticeable but people only add live feeling. The show is awesome, and With or Without You has an extended end.

The only minor to note is an edit before In God's Country (it causes the song to cut in, missing a few seconds).
