Comments
This recording features very good clarity and crispness. Some tracks sound really powerful (such as New Year's Day or Pride). Blemishes include some hiss remaining on the background, and pops between several tracks.
Sound fluctuates during the first seconds of Streets, as if taper was adjusting his recording equipment. First seconds of Running to Stand Still begin at the end of track 6, then there's a fade, and Running goes on again in track 7. A noticeable edit occurs between Party Girl and Trip Through Your Wires, that cuts off a few seconds of the latter. Moreover, during the first 19 seconds of Trip Throough Your Wires, it can be heard the song Where the Streets Have No Name on the background, so the first song is over the second. This problem is solved at 00:19, as I said, where things are back to normal.
