Comments

This is a first gen digital copy of the silver bootleg released by White Flag records. Sound is really strong, very loud and impressive, with all instruments and vocals very good captured and audible. It sounds sharp and crisp, with the only blemish of the big amount of crowd noise, which is too loud at a few spots, although it is mostly located between songs. Note that individual voices near the taper can be heard from time to time. A little skip at 05:30 in Bad cuts off some seconds of the song.

The show is quite energetic, with a very talkative Bono, and the band in top form and enjoying theirselves in front of their hometown crowd. Lou Reed joins the band onstage to sing the long snippet of Walk on the Wild Side during Bad. Tonight's rendition of With or Without You is simply fantastic.

Tracks 4 to 10, CD2, are from Cork (Ireland) at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, on August 8th, 1987. Sound quality is also pretty good, but it contains a slight high-end distortion. CD2, tracks 11 to 13 are from Belfast (Northern Ireland) at King's Hall, on June 24th, 1987. Sound quality is very good, but not as clear and crisp as the Dublin or Cork songs. Moreover, these Belfast songs contain some static in the background.
