Additional notes (by thomsa7): First Scottish show of the Joshua Tree tour. Wasn't at this show and this version is from a guy I knew from Bradford who did a lot of Scottish record fairs back in the 1980's. I haven't done much to this as I think it sounds not too bad at all. It's the full show with a couple of surprises in "Lucille" and "Spanish Eyes". I think this has probbaly been widely traded in Scotland over the years.

Comments

Pretty good audience recording coming off first generation cassettes. Sound is strong and clear although slightly harsh and boomy, with some distortion due to tape degradation here and there. Crowd noise is certainly audible but only adding live feeling with some cheering near the taper on occasion. Note a little edit after Exit that makes In God's Country to cut in. Moreover, note that Bad cuts in, missing a minute or so of the song, and With or Without You cuts in as well, missing the very first seconds. Finally, note that to my ears, second disc runs a little slow.

After In God's Country Bono jokes and imitates Barry McGuigan, a well-known Irish boxer in the era. Moreover, he announces that I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For has achieved Nš1 at US charts.
