Comments
Fair sound quality overall. Music and vocals sound clear so the tape is well listenable. However, the output is somewhat distant and thin, and pretty harsh. And there is a good amount of hiss throughout the recording. Of course, this one lacks sharpness. There is an edit at the very end of Running to Stand Still that sacrifices the last seconds. "40" fades out at 3:07.
This was the first of two shows in Philadelphia during the third leg of the tour. This was the indoor one, while the other was in a huge outdoor stadium a pair of weeks later.
