Comments
Decent recording with clear sound, but a bit of crowd noise (generally between songs, with individual voices here and there). When people calm down, the tape gets quite listenable and brings a pretty good and solid sound. However, it lacks a more crisp definition and there is some hiss in the background. There is an edit right before Sunday Bloody Sunday, so the song cuts in missing the first drumbeats. Moreover, this song contains a dropout at 0:56.
This show documents the first time U2 played at the Giant's Stadium as the main act. It will later come some other gigs during the ZooTV (1992), PopMart (1997) and 360º (2009) tours. Adam's bass malfunctions at the beginning of New Year's Day and Bono has to fill the gap with a bit of talking.
