Comments
This recording documents the first night of the ZooTV Tour, and the band gave a great performance. The show soldout in three minutes. The tape offers excellent sound quality with a clear capture of music and vocals and a very nice live feeling. Audience noise is minimal, usually placed in the background. In my opinion, excellent performance for being the première of the world tour, really outstanding one.
The first two songs are slightly lower in temrs of sound quality. By the beginning of Even Better than the Real Thing the taper adjusts the recording levels, and from that point the tape becomes pretty solid and crisp with everything well upfront. The only minor to note is that Love is Blindness is incomplete: it fades out at 02:07.
Tracks 09 and 10 CD2 are from the soundcheck of the same evening.
