Comments
This tape documents the second show of the ZooTV Tour. Sound quality is excellent, with a clear and strong output. Also note it offers a bit of crowd noise around the taper. Among the fans, this concert is known for being the first with a belly-dancer during Mysterious Ways. Quoting the book U2-Live by Pim Jal de la Parra and Caroline van Oosten de Boer (published by Omnibus Press, 2003):
"Belly-dancer Christina Petro makes her début tonight. A fan of U2, Christina had approached U2's management before the tour with an offer to dance during Mysterious Ways in much the same way as the belly-dancer appears metaphorically in the video. The management suggested she offer U2 a surprise performance, so Christina danced into their rehearsal. The band were very impressed, and Miami becomes her first opportunity to do it for real. [...] After this show, Christina doesn't perform until she actually joins the tour in Boston."
