Comments
Very good quality overall in this recording, straight off the master cassette via CDR-1 into flac format. Sound is very clear, with a nice capture of all instruments (this recording does not lack of bass, as some others do during the first leg of the ZooTV). The only blemish is that sound is a little rough, but still features good sharpness. Audience noise is audible, but usually between songs. Music comes through pretty well, although it is slightly distant. To sum up, in my opinion, this recording can be placed between the very good audience and the excellent audience rating due to the crisp sound.
This item is not flawless. Who's Gonna Ride contains a skip at 0:20 that cuts off a few seconds of the song. I found another skip in Running to Stand Still at 03:53, with no loss of music. There's an edit between Arms Around the World and Angel of Harlem, with no loss of music in any of the songs. Another edit exists just before Desire.
I love the part where the crowd start singing "but I still haven't found what I'm looking for" during the encore and go on and on before Desire kicks in.
