Comments
Good audience tape that offers a more than decent sound quality. The output is clear and enjoyable, but it is pretty harsh and somewhat distant, too. Crowd noise is certainly audible, but not too disturbing, although a few stray voices are audible from time to time. A very nice of moment of the show happens during the encore with the crowd singing for several minutes the chorus of Still Haven't Found before the band took the stage again. Love is Blindness was dedicated to a fan called Tiffany, who had a ticket for the show but died in a car accident a few days before the show took place.
This one seems to be transferred from VHS to CDR by Justin Cook, webmaster of Justin's U2 CDR Trading. These are his comments:
"I transferred this recording from video to CDR. Sound quality is pretty good for such a transfer and there is no background noise. The acoustics in The Summit aren't the greatest, but the sound from this bootleg is close to that of most other bootlegs from the indoor leg of the ZooTV tour. Audience noise is only a minor problem, with a few short conversations being audible. Approximately the first 30 seconds of "Running To Stand Still" are missing, so the song begins with "(And so she) woke up...", thereby sacrificing the intro and the first three words of the tune. Also, there is a huge skip at 1:56 of "With Or Without You" that results in the loss of much of the song. One moment Bono is singing his first "And you give yourself away", the next he is crooning "Yeah, we'll shine like stars in the summer night". There are a few brief instances during the recording where some static can be heard while my VCR had to use its auto-tracking feature".
