Comments

This is another of Beckman's excellent masters of the 1992 German nights. This tape offers a similar sound quality than his Dortmund masters: pretty good clarity and a sharp and powerful capture of both instruments and vocals, that sound well upfront. Crowd noise is minimal and adds a nice live feeling.

The show is amazing and it represents the smallest venue and crowd of the whole ZooTV / Zooropa'93 tours, with just 6.500 in attendance. I'd remark that Bono seemed to be in high spirit and the band delivered a strong performance. One of the highlights is a raw version of Until the End of the World, where Bono angrily yells to soundman Joe O'Herlihy to turn up Edge's guitar. Note this show is way well-known among fans, as Bono added some lines of the b-side Walk to the Water to Bad.

For sure, this is one of my favourites gigs of the second leg of the tour, with Milan 22nd of May, and Stockholm 11th of June.
