Comments
One of the best audience recordings of the Outside Broadcast. Moreover, the show is fantastic with a great performance by the band. It sounds solid and powerful, and brings a very nice live feeling, compared with the popular soundboard version that is around. Clarity and crispness are phenomenal, and music and vocals come through very clean. Only issue to remark concerning sound quality is audience noise at some spots. Sound is a bit bass-dominated, so it needs to be reduced a little, and vocals are a little lower in the mix. Anyway, I really recommend this source.
Note I have another version that also comes from the same master DAT but from the master CDRs, instead of second gen CDRs. The current version (2nd gen CDRs) sounds a little better than the other, with a crisper and stronger output. This leads me to think that it has been remastered in a step of its lineage.
