Comments
This is a very good audience tape, with a pretty clear sound. As other soundchecks, it contains some hiss and people can be heard talking a pair of times. However, music comes through very clear with minimal interferences. Sound begins somewhat muffled on the first song, but it improves quite fast.
A very interesting item, with some jamming songs. The first three songs feature the band trying to fix the segment between Until the End of the World and New Yer's Day. The Unknown Song nš1 seems to be a jamming act that the band used a couple of times. The second Unknown Song is a drum-dominated jam. The third tune is a more polished song, with Bono rapping some lyrics. While Even Better features a instrumental rendition, Mysterious Ways includes some vocals by Edge. Track 11 brings the band now fixing the segment between Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bullet the Blue Sky. Track 14 includes a skip at 0:47 with a sound downgrade for about 45 seconds.
Tracks 16 and 17 were recorded at "Sun Bowl" in El Paso (TX, USA) on 27-October-1992 during the afternoon soundcheck. They are really amazing and very polished songs. Sound quality is excellent for them. The first one is instrumental, while the second contains some lyrics by Bono. They are superb stuff.
