This was the first of three concerts in East Rutherford (NJ, USA) at the famous Giants Stadium. This show was the only one that was a soldout, with the second one being almost a soldout, and the third too far from being it. This version was sped-up by Chris Wolf, as the pitch was too slow. These are Chris Wolf's comments, taken from his trading website:
"Source: Earfeed > unknown recording device > CD-R > SHN > WAV > Goldwave pitch adjustment > SHN.
Here is another one of those hoarded earpiece recordings to pop up. This one sounds pretty good, except that it played way too slow. I fixed that. All I did to this recording was correct the play back speed, and adjusted the track listing a little bit. Originally, disc 1 contained a full version of Please and the beginning intro of Where the Streets Have No Name. Disc 2 then started off with Please again. This seemed redundant and silly to me, so I just finished disc 1 with Bullet the Blue Sky. The recording levels at times are too high, and the recording is distorted in spots, but it is not something to really worry about. There are a few drop-outs here and there, but that can be expected with an earfeed recording. I think this one was recorded from The Edge's feed, as his guitar and vocals are very loud in the mix. When he sings he is usually drowning out Bono. This was the last time they performed the full band version of Staring at the Sun."
Well, this one sounds quite powerful, but saturated in some spots. During Mofo, volume fluctuates a bit, until getting the right level, as Pop Muzik sounded distant and pretty low. Mofo contains some seconds of nasty skipping, and a good portion of saturation. The Lemon Intermission also contains huge portions of distortion. There are pops between a few of the tracks. As Chris mentiond above, it seems to come from Edge's earpiece, because when he sings, he really overcomes Bono's voice.
