Comments

This CDR brings two different recordings. First one, marked in BLUE (tracks 1 to 12), brings the Winnipeg 12/06/1997 soundcheck at Winnipeg Stadium. Quality is pretty good for such a recording. Some street noises are audible, and a bit of wind as well. Music comes through powerful, quite clear, with a few imperfections that don't disturb too much. All songs are instrumental or just guitar riffs. Last track is Bono outside the venue saying "hi" and joking with the taper and his friends. Just to say that I am not quite sure if the second part of the second track is the guitar riff for Miami, or the guitar riff for Happiness is a Warm Gun.

The second recording, in WHITE (tracks 13 to 18), features the MTV rehearsals at the Radio City Music Hall of New York (NY, USA) on September 4th, 1997. U2 performed at the MTV Video Music Awards the song Please, so it was rehearsed a couple of times. Quality is just outstanding in this recording, that comes from a first gen soundboard video.
