Comments

This recording documents the first of two nights at the Oakland Stadium. Note this one was a soldout gig, while the second show failed. British band Oasis was the suppoert act, although reviews reported they failed to impress the crowd.

This tape sounds pretty clear and there's minimal crowd noise, except for a few cheers in the background between a pair of songs. The tape is very solid and the output is quite sharp. So to sum up, excellent sound quality. Note the DAT model this recording was taped with is unverified, but the consensus seems to point out it was a 'Sony D8'.
