A fantastic show that Bono described right before Still Haven't Found as "Questo č la pił grade serata della mia vita" ("this is the greatest evening of my life"). It's the biggest rock concert with the highest number of payers for a sole band: 150.000 tickets were sold, but the estimated attendance may be between 170.000 and 180.000 people. Before MLK, Bono dedicated the concert to Andrea Gianotti, a fan who died two days before at the Rome show, as he fell ill during the show and passed away when arriving at the hospital.
This tape brings excellent sound quality. All instruments are perfectly audible and sound comes through pretty clean and strong. There are tiny marks between most of the tracks, and I detected a dropout at 0:40 in Gone. Crowd noise is noticeable throughtout the show, but never too detracting.
